A friend of mine just asked me to help her
to install the newest LaTeX2e under Linux.
Everything worked fine, except one thing:
when fonts such as ...329pk are generated,
dvips looks for .328pk, then finds ..329pk
and says that the scaling will give very poor
results. I remember that this was mentionned
here several times, but I didn't pay attention
to it, since I was not concerned.
Now, can somebody sum up the results of these talks,
and tell me what I should do ?
Do I have to modify MakeTeXPK ?
